This is a fun set that I remember clearly. The Ping I3 blade does not qualify for the opening round of the best looking irons ever made, in my opinion. For a long time this was the death of clean stainless steel irons. For many many years after this inserts and dampers have been added across all brands. When it comes to a clean ball flight and amazing performance, yes!

These irons also are dripping character. Everyone I know that played I3 blades for any length of time knows this image. "Oh no, the logo-weight-thing has come off again!" I don’t know about today, but in the old days if you lost a weight you could send it to Ping for a replacement. More time and money invested, the more these mean to me.
Sound, feel and striaght shots are vivid memories hitting these and most other Ping irons.
