First things first: V A S stands for Vibration Absorbing System. That and its anti-shank design seemed to propel Corey Pavin to vitory.

I have a sneaking suspicion it was Pavin that propelled the VAS irons into the spotlight.

Also, the color purple comes to mind... Look at that grip!
