The Ping Eye 2 series lasted, in one form or another, from 1982 until 1998. What other irons had a 16 year run? Sure in 1990 it became the Ping Eye 2 Plus - stay tuned for a future video about that iron.

This really put Ping in the drivers seat when it came to irons. Putters, irons, the only thing left was for them to dominate was the driver market - that would have to wait for the Ping G2 460cc driver to come pouring over golf like lemmings to a cliff.
