Okay, these have a cool look. Tungsten in an iron that looks like it was made by a blacksmith... Nice casting Acushnet!

Looks aside, it feels as good as many modern stainless irons I have hit. There is something different about these...
Maybe because there is no bounce or forgiveness built into the sole. Maybe it is the lack of refinement of the materials. All things considered, this club set the standard for things to come.
If I had to choose a functional set from the seventies these would be on my short list. However, these do not make my short list for most beautiful irons of the seventies.
