This is the 1966 design, obviously the one in the photos below was NOT made in 1966 as it has the Phoenix address not the Scottsdale address.

There is a famous story about about how they cut the W out of answer to help the name fit on the putter.
Dear Ping, Toney Penna added a letter to his name more than a decade before you dropped your W. So like, this is not the most original thing to do, you mavriks!
Once you move past the stories and the pedantic identification discussions it is one of the best putters on the planet. As I write this, 2020, this design is still top dog all over the planet.
